SWEA, Swedish Women’s Education Associations, Inc. is a non-profit organization for Swedish women. SWEA was founded in Los Angeles in 1979 and has about 8000 members in 80 local chapters in 40 countries on five continents. In addition to an annual scholarship program, overseen by its parent organization, SWEA Orange County has its own program recognizing individuals and institutions in Orange County.
