On October 5th, 12th, and 19th, the price is $15 per person.
The day starts with a sit down dinner of traditional Oktoberfest menu items, including bratwurst, baked chicken, spaetzle (German Egg Noodles with mushroom gravy), sauerkraut, red cabbage, potato salad, coleslaw and apple struesel cake. During dinner, our guests get to enjoy traditional German Oom Pah Pa music, meet our ever popular ‘Shot Girls’, and get to immerse themselves in a real Oktoberfest celebration – Bavarian Style. Alcohol is also available for purchase.
Manfred Haas is an amazing accordion player and this video gives you a taste of his talent. As a member of Schwaubapower, direct from Germany, he entertained us throughout Oktoberfest. On accordion, he features a lot in the traditional Oktoberfest Oom Pah Pa music.
Schwaubapower made it's second visit to Old World's Oktoberfest celebration - back by popular demand, and you can see why. Direct from Germany, they play a great selection of traditional German Oom Pah Pa music. They're great entertainers and their performance of YMCA was hugely popular.
The entertainment includes our live band, direct from Germany, playing a host of popular Oom Pah Pa music . With Master of Ceremonies, Bernie Bischoff, leading the event, the crowd is further entertained with a variety of dancing, singing, music and our ever popular Heidi, and her amazing contortionist act.
There is no better way to celebrate Oktoberfest than at Old World and Old World village. Old World’s Festival Hall lends itself to the celebration by providing an indoor facility that accommodates large crowds while still providing a smaller, more intimate feel to the Oktoberfest celebration. With the band up close and personal, playing music that still allows for conversation, and table arrangements that allow easy mingling and a shared joy, everyone who attends this event wants to come back for more.
Once the entertainment concludes, our guests get to tour our large European market, stocked to the hilt with popular brands (and others you might not know, but will love.) Alongside the market, we have the highly regarded German deli, offering a great selection of the meats, cheeses, and deli items. And finally, our German bakery, producing the best breads, bakery and dessert items in all of Southern California. There is something for everyone and the shopping is always a popular activity once the dinner and entertainment wraps.
The Old World Village, modeled after a Bavarian village, is a unique shopping environment, offering some interesting and highly regarded stores, including clothes, music, arts, crafts, food and services. Unlike anything else in Orange County, the village offers a great way to walk off the big dinner and make a full day of the event.

Old World and Old World village are known for having many great things to see and do. Throughout the year we are host to a variety of concerts, shows and special events. The European market, deli, and German bakery are always a hit. The Old World village has a variety of unique shops, restaurants and services, so it’s a great place to browse. Old World is also located behind the Bella Terra shopping center, one of the premium shopping areas of Huntington Beach
Our Oktoberfest entertainment program is a lot of fun, and includes a lot of singing, dancing and group participation. Led by Bernie Bischof and accompanied by our traditional Oom Pah Pa band, direct from Germany, the events include some events everyone will love, including the Zillertaler March, our Conga Line and the ever popular Chicken Dance. Always popular, and a fixture at Oktoberfest for as many years as we can remember, Heidi, puts on an amazing show of acrobatics, balance, a contortionist display – words can’t do it justice!
It gets even the klutziest wallflower out on the dance floor, because it makes everyone look equally silly. That may be why, in a survey of D.J.s, the "Chicken Dance" charts higher than classics such as "We Are Family" and "Respect." Written in the 1950’s it’s become one of the most recognized songs from Oktoberfest’s around the country. With our traditional German band playing the song, you’ll want to get up and dance.
