Our German Grocery store is located in the heart of Old World Village and it also features a German Bakery. A must try here in the German Bakery would be German Strudel. Our baker Fritz Janson has been baking for over 50 years. Besides all the good traditional German baking goods here at the Old World Bakery, we also can make Wedding & birthday cakes.

Most people don’t even know what Oktoberfest is. Oktoberfest is one of the WORLD largest festivals. Here in Huntington Beach California, we fly in a German Oom-pa-pah band directly from Germany. Our Motto is EAT, DRINK, DANCE, & be MERRY! Watch Folk dancers, do the Chicken Dance with our Official Oktoberfest Chicken. Bring the kids!! Every Sunday for Oktoberfest Moon Bounce & Game Booths & you can watch our famous Dachshund races which are held weekly throughout Oktoberfest and monthly through out the year. Here you will see these cute Wiener-Dogs that are short-legged but swift little Dachshunds belly up to the finish line. Adult nights are on Friday & Saturday’s on these nights we only allow 21+ with ID. Wednesday & Thursday nights are family nights, if you are under 21 you must be accompanied by your parents. On these nights we have a lot of fundraisers, corporate company parties and high school field trips.
