Josef Bischof came to this country in 1952 and dreamed of bringing with him a piece of his homeland
to share with his new friends in a new land.
After finding acreage in Huntington Beach, his dream became a reality. With his wife Dolores, they built 45 shops in the traditional Bavarian style. Dolores and Joe still reside on the property at Old World, along with their daughter and son-in-law Cyndie & Jason Kasko and
their son and daughter-in-law Bernie & Barbara Bischof, and grandchildren Markus, Matthaeus, Ronin & Ava. |
